Our rotary vane vacuum pump is a machine that provides a vacuum environment for the equipment. Glass reactors, short path distillation and vacuum drying ovens all use such supporting equipment. Compared with circulating water vacuum pumps, it can pump vacuum faster.It has many models, of which the 2XZ-2 is the best-selling model.

What is a rotary vane vacuum pump

Rotary vane vacuum pumps are mostly small and medium-sized vacuum pumps. There are two types of rotary vane vacuum pumps: single-stage rotary vane vacuum pumps and two-stage vacuum pumps. A so-called two-phase rotary vacuum pump is a series of two single-stage pumps connected in series. It is a general two-stage type for obtaining a high degree of vacuum. The rotary vane vacuum pump can be used alone or as the backing pump of the booster pump, diffusion pump, molecular pump and titanium pump.

Rotary vane vacuum pump working principle

The rotary vane vacuum pump has a two-stage structure. Work capacity has two components: high pressure zone and low pressure zone. Its suction port is connected to the vacuum container or vacuum equipment. During operation, a large amount of gas in the container will be sucked and discharged. When the equipment obtains vacuum, the high-pressure stage exhaust valve will be closed, and the gas sucked by the high-pressure stage will be transferred to the second stage and in the second stage, the vacuum device is sucked and removed so that it can reach a constant vacuum.

Models and components of rotary vane vacuum pumps

There are six models of rotary vane vacuum pumps currently on sale: 2XZ-8B, 2XZ-15B, 2XZ-0.5, 2XZ-1, 2XZ-2, 2XZ-4. The rotary vane pump is mainly composed of pump body, rotor, rotary vane, end cover, spring, etc. A rotor is installed in the cavity of the rotary vane pump, the outer circle of the rotor is tangent to the inner surface of the pump cavity (there is a small gap between the two), and two rotary vanes with springs are installed in the rotor groove. During rotation, the top of the rotary vane is kept in contact with the inner wall of the pump chamber by centrifugal force and the tension of the spring, The rotor then rotates and slides the curved housing. This housing slides along the inner wall of the pump chamber.

Rotary vane vacuum pump 2xz-2 installation method

1. The vacuum pump must be installed in a place with clean environment and dry air, and the room temperature should be between 5-40℃. The large pump must be fixed on a solid cement foundation with bolts.

2. Before unpacking the wooden box of the pump, check whether the wooden box is damaged. Open the wooden box to check whether the pump is damaged and whether the motor is damaged and damp. If it is damaged or damp, it must be repaired and dried before installation.

3. The suction port on the upper part of the suction cylinder of the pump has been sealed with a metal gland when it leaves the factory. During installation, it is necessary to check whether the seal is damaged and whether there are sundries and dirt in the pump body, and maintenance and cleaning work should be carried out if necessary.

4. When connecting the pump and the vacuum system, the connecting pipeline must be clean inside and outside, and the pipeline connection must be sealed with a vacuum oil-resistant rubber gasket. It is strictly forbidden to drop foreign objects into the pump.

5. Remove the protective cover and the V-belt and turn the pump pulley by hand for 2-3 turns to see if the rotation is normal. Before turning on the power supply, it is necessary to check whether the power supply voltage, frequency, and number of phases meet the requirements of the motor nameplate. After turning on the power supply, the direction of the motor and the pump should be the same. Attach the V-Tape shield.

6. Unscrew the refueling screw plug on the fuel tank cover, and pour the vacuum oil into the fuel tank until the amount of oil reaches the center line of the oil mark. When the room temperature is too low in winter, the oil must be heated to 15°C before injection, and the screw plug should be tightened after the oil is injected. When the pump is in normal operation, the oil level in the oil tank is kept on the oil level line and must not exceed. It also adopts the method of injecting vacuum oil from the suction port. The clean vacuum oil will clean and lubricate the parts in the pump, making it run more briskly.

7. After installation, the surrounding of the pump must be cleaned up. The outside of the pump and motor must be wiped clean.

Features of rotary vane vacuum pump 2xz-2

The ro vane vacuum pump has the advantages of small size, lightweight, low noise, and convenient starting. In addition, there are measures to prevent oil return (2XZ-8) and no measures to prevent oil leakage from oil seals and contaminati the site.

1. The rotary vane vacuum pump is the basic equipment for obtaining avacuum. It can be used alone or as the backing pump and pre-pumping pump of various high vacuum systems.

2. The air inlet of the rotary vane vacuum pump runs continuously open to the atmosphere, and should not exceed three minutes.

3. The pump is not suitable for pumping out gas that is corrosive to metal, chemically reacts with pump oil, contains particulate dust, and contains excessively high oxygen and explosive gas.

4. The pump can be used as a compression pump or a delivery pump.

5. The working environment of the rotary vane vacuum pump: within the temperature range of 5℃-40℃, the relative temperature is not more than 90%, and the air inlet pressure is less than 1333Pa, allowing long-term continuous operation.

6. When installing the power supply, connect according to the regulations on the motor plate, and pay attention to the direction of the motor rotation and the direction of the arrow on the support.

7. The diameter of the pipeline of the continuously pumped container should not be less than the diameter of the air inlet of the pump, and the pipeline should be short and with few elbows. At the same time, be careful of pipe leaks.

8. Focus on checking the oil level before starting each time. It is advisable to fill the oil to the height of 4/5 of the diameter of the oil standard glass when the pump is stopped.

9. The pump oil adopts clean SY1634-70 No. 1 vacuum pump oil.

10. The rotary vane vacuum pump can be started once under the atmosphere or any vacuum degree. If the XZ-1 single-stage pump is difficult to start, it can be started by removing the plug cap of the intake pipe, and then put into operation.

Advantages of rotary vane vacuum pumps 2xz-2

1. It has the advantages of fast pumping speed, small size, light weight, low noise, convenient maintenance and high ultimate vacuum degree.

2. There is a reliable dust-proof device. For other rotary vane pumps, when the debris passes through the dust-proof device, it can be connected to the pump cavity. The vacuum pump produced by our company can only flow around the outside of the dust-proof device when the sundries pass through the dust-proof device. In this way, the normal operation of the pump is ensured, and the phenomenon of debris entering the pump cavity and being bitten to death is completely solved. 

3. There is a composite screw with a vent valve and an oil inlet hole. The oil inlet holes of the double-stage rotary vane pump are designed on the low-level exhaust valve seat inside the oil tank. When the oil hole is blocked, it is necessary to drain the oil and remove the oil tank to clear the oil hole. As long as the compound screw is unscrewed from the vacuum pump, the oil hole can be cleared, and the sundries and water vapor can also be discharged. It is fast and labor-saving, which greatly improves the working efficiency of the pump.

Application of rotary vane vacuum pump 2xz-2

Due to the high development of modern science and technology, the application of rotary vane vacuum pumps in various scientific fields and various enterprises and institutions is mainly manifested in:

1. It can be used for scientific research, production and teaching in scientific research institutions, colleges and universities, industrial and mining enterprises such as metallurgy, chemical industry, light industry, petroleum, medical treatment, pharmaceuticals, printing and dyeing, electrical appliances, electric vacuum, semiconductor, food, atomic energy, textile, etc.

2. Since the rotary vane vacuum pump is made of ferrous metal and is relatively precise, the whole pump work is related to the oil, so it is not suitable for pumping out the excessively oxygen-containing, toxic and explosive immersion. Various corrosive gases that chemically affect iron and metals cannot be used as compressors or pumps. If there is a pump with a gas ballast device, a certain amount of condensable gas can be removed.

3. The rotary vane vacuum pump can be used to directly obtain the vacuum operation with the vacuum degree below 10-3 Torr, as well as cooperate with other vacuum equipment to obtain the vacuum function of the vacuum degree above 10-3 Torr.

4. The rotary vane vacuum pump is generally used in an environment where the room temperature is not lower than 5 °C and the relative temperature is not higher than 90%. According to the user's usage, it can be equipped with a vacuum booster pump, and the pump can be used as the fore-stage pump. Due to the enhanced pumping force of the booster pump, the fore-stage pump is continuously pumped out, and the equipment can obtain a higher vacuum.
